Our Process
Puppy information
Here at Blue Water Goldens we love each and every puppy as if they are going to live with us for forever. From day one, they get so much love! Our puppies are born and raised inside our home. We do ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESI (early scent introduction) exercises starting when the puppies are only 3 days old. All puppies will be AKC registered (limited registration only, we will be registering the puppy for you) 1 month of health insurance, Florida health certificate from our licensed veterinarian, and will be up to date on all deworming's and vaccines. We also give everyone a puppy take home bag, full of helpful information, toys, a blanket with mom and littermates scent, and a small bag of food.
Reserving a puppy
When reserving a puppy, we require everyone to fill out our application. If accepted, we will contact you to be put on our waitlist, it does not cost anything to fill out the application or to be placed on our waitlist. Puppies are $2,500 each, it doesn't matter the color or sex of the puppy, each puppy costs the same. We also require a deposit of $300. The deposit is what will guarantee you a puppy. We will start accepting deposits once pregnancy is confirmed. At that time, we will only accept 5 deposits, 2 boys, 2 girls, and 1 more if you do not have a preferred gender. We will continue to take remanding deposits once puppies are born, that's when we will know how many boys and girls there are. We reach out to our waitlist first before taking deposits from anyone else. All deposits are non-refundable.
Choosing your puppy
Choosing your puppy is very important, each puppy will have different looks, and personalities. We are here to help you in choosing the perfect puppy! Puppy picks are at 6 weeks, only after they get their first round of shots and are checked by our licensed veterinarian. Picks will be done via FaceTime or whatever video chat that is available to you. We do not allow any visitors, no exceptions! Picks will be in the order of deposits received,

Questions you might have
What color will my puppy be?
We currently have 2 mamas (Lily and Penny) and one dad to our puppies. Depending on which pairing you pick, puppies will range in color from traditional golden-light golden. Penny will be a first-time mama this year, so she could have some darker golden babies since she is dark red/golden. We cannot guarantee a specific color.
How big will my puppy be as an adult?
Every puppy is different, but because of the size of our goldens, your puppy will most likely grow to be anywhere between 70-85 pounds.
Why can't anyone visit the puppies?
There are a few reasons. We raise our puppies inside our home, where we live with our children. For the safety of our family, we do not allow visitors. Another very important reason is that the puppies' immune systems are not very strong, we do not take any chances on the puppies getting sick. No visitors, no exceptions.
Can I breed my puppy when its an adult?
No you cannot. puppies will be AKC registered on a limited registration only, meaning no breeding rights.
How much does a puppy cost?
$2,500 with a non-refundable deposit of $300 the deposit goes toward the full price of the puppy.
When should I spay/neuter my puppy?
Our contract states that you cannon spay/neuter your puppy until he/she reaches 2 years old.
Where are you located?
We are located in Clearwater, Florida.
Will my puppy be AKC registered?
We will be registering your puppy for you, to ensure it is done properly. The AKC certificate will be sent to your home.
